I went to his website. I love his palette because it's on the cold side which I like. The transparency and skin tones are marvelous. I couldn't live with any of those standing nudes, despite liking them. I could, however, live with many of his other paintings.
Yeah, there's a lot of art that I adore but wouldn't necessarily want to engage with before coffee.
I like the interview a lot, and his advice to young artists. His answer to the question about an ideal venue was funny: " I like squeaky wooden floors near my paintings."
