Looking at Degas

It's weird, some of the best paintings are the most poorly reproduced online. Probably because they are reproduced so often that it's like a game of telephone - they get mangled.

Looking at painters in the two previous posts got me thinking about Degas' palette, and especially his use of both white and black as colors. So I found some less common images to share what I love about his work.

1.Woman at the Window, 1871
2.Woman Ironing (or Silhouette), 1873
3. At the Cafe, 1877
