I went to Maine to say goodbye to an old friend, who died today.
Here is a wonderful photo of him in 1953.

Oh hey, thank you too. Sorry I won't be there to hear people reminisce today. All best to his loved ones there - he talked about you all the time. xo

Just got back fom Snows memorial, I am sure he was there with us with that shit eating grin of his enjoying being the coolest guy in the room. I have a hole in my heart.

He was a special person. A great mix of irreverent, hard-edged etc. and yet with an old-fashioned sense of propriety about certain things at the same time. He was really there for his Mom at the end of her life, for example. You probably know all this -

I understand if you'd prefer to be anonymous, but you're welcome to shoot me an email if you feel like writing about him. (bradford66@verizon.net) Either way, all my best to you & thanks for writing. xo

You're very welcome - I met you when you were quite young. (All three nieces had gone to a casting call as extras in a film - ??)

Your photographs are wonderful - best wishes for more adventures ahead, and love to your family.
