Erzsébet Vojnich

I'm fascinated by artists who choose a subject and work it for years. (Her website shows work going back to 1980!) Maybe it is a kind of envy, since I don't have a particular zone that I've claimed for myself as a painter. Vojnich is like a minimalist Piranesi - they all seem to be imagined architecture/interiors. I've had some good studio days, but have not been in a sunny mood - these feel about right at the moment.
