I know she was in Maine for a spell.

I agree - she is always inventive, trying new ideas and materials, but there's a high standard and continuity to her sensibility that ties all of her work together. Very inspiring and fun to see.Jen Bradfordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12866914506615807408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19581074.post-83393573782504856382009-01-21T16:16:00.000-05:002009-01-21T16:16:00.000-05:00I think this woman is originally from Chicago and ...I think this woman is originally from Chicago and later NYC. If so, she's genius. Have you ever followed the evolution of an artist? She's true to the spirit and cause. Her ideas aren't just unique and refreshing, but always new and changing. Her sustainable outlook and chic delivery is model. She's inventive beyond the imagination...that's honestly why I say genius. Everytime I happen upon her work, it's evolved and I can't believe my eyes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19581074.post-60418685746287181402009-01-05T09:20:00.000-05:002009-01-05T09:20:00.000-05:00Jen, I want every piece of jewelry on this page, a...Jen, I want every piece of jewelry on this page, and I don't even wear jewelry. The blue reminds me of those antique chests or chairs that are so highly sought after because of the worn blue milk paint.

I also love the way she has the packs of wooden rulers stored on that shelf. It is a work of art. Perhaps it IS an art piece. Aye, there's the rub! Reminds me of Lily Tomlin's wise bag lady bit. She holds up Warhol's Campbell soup painting in one hand and a can of Campbell's soup in the other. Raising one, says, "This is soup?" then the other, "This is art!"

The coin heads' bracelet is fabulous looking and the skill to carve those pieces is most impressive.
